This week some of our members attended a Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) training, hosted by NCTCOG across the DFW area at three sites. The full-day course covered the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), pedestrian design standards and guidelines, pedestrian access routes (PARs), curb ramps and pedestrian crossings and signals, transit shelters and accessible parking spaces, among many other topics.
